Nikolaos Tsitiridis is a resident and frequently appearing performer at the Comedy Club. His career launches at 2016 when he tries out at Comedy Club Sofia’s Open Mic and the club’s manager invites him to an accelerated training program, which leads to him signing with the Comedy Club merely one year later, becoming a professional stand-up comedian. Comedy Club Sofia’s stages throughout the country start putting on his shows on a regular basis.
Ivan Kirkov returns to Bulgaria in 2012 to become the founder of Comedy.BG with the intent of popularizing comedy in Bulgaria. Just two years later, Kirkov established Sofia’s Comedy Festival, while 2015 sees the inception of the one and only Bulgarian Comedy Club. The club currently operates 3 stages in Sofia and one in Plovdiv, where shows are held every night.
Petya Kyulova is another Comedy Club mainstay and the first Bulgarian female professional standup comedian. One of the best comedians in the country, her active career starts in 2016 at the Comedy Club’s Open Mic. She has also won the title of Comedian of the Year 2019.
