You’re cordially invited to a stage play at Plovdiv Plaza on May 29th at 5 p.m.! Actors Ovanes Torosyan, Petko Venelinov and Todor Darlianov present “Colleague”, the first stage play to perform on a grand stage at a shopping mall.
“Colleague” is a play that will get you laughing, crying, feeling various emotions, but above all, thinking!
“Colleague” is a depiction of professional drivers, but it is also a representation of an entire social caste and its microworld consisting of intense traffic, frustrated customers, loud horns, cursing and everyday nuisances.
“Colleague” tells the story of a reality in which Mitko and Spiro are minibus drivers. They drive from dusk till dawn, go about their average Bulgarian lives and think they’re happy until they are left unemployed.
“Colleague” is a comedy about contemplating life’s twists and turns. The unemployment line throws a new occupation at them – stage workers in theatre. It is an incredibly funny comedy, but one that incorporates rumination on life and purpose.
